Vision: Dementia: A decline in memory and/or intellectual functioning severe enough to interfere with social or occupational functioning.

I'm not sure if you've captured the essence of dementia in this piece too well. The girl looks slightly off, yes, and the fact her eyes are covered could suggest a mild madness, but she still appears relatively in control of herself - then again, she could only have a mild version of the disease.

Originality: Blindfolded women are becoming a little too popular now-a-days, and with added juxtaposed colours and wings I'm afraid this piece isn't very original.

Technique: I haven't given you a full five stars here, as I think there's just a little too many flaws for you to warrant it. Though remember, these are my personal opinion.

The blur on the butterflies seems a little unnecessary, especially when you consider that when a butterfly flaps, it's wings move up & down, which changes their positioning (they appear to go in toward the butterfly). Hence the blur you've made is wrong. It suggests that they've been launched and aren't flapping their wings at all.

The wings on the girl look a little disconnected - but only a little. A little movement / tweaking should do the trick. They also look a little pixellated and badly extracted, especially at the left-side. Also, why does there appear to be two wings on the left and only one on the right? See how, just next to her lips, another wing appears?

Finally, the grunge on her left arms seems a little out of place. Perhaps if it just faded smoothly into black, more of the attention would stay on the woman's face. At the bottom, I find my eyes constantly drifting to that point.

Aside from these points, the piece is fantastic. I love the richness of the colour in her lips, and the fantastic colouring. I love how you've inverted the butterflies to fly on their opposing sides.

Impact: Overall, the piece is brilliant really. Just a few minor flaws which only need the mildest of tweaks.
