Now I'm actually finishing more papercrafts than I upload.... Uploading these takes time and work in itself---exporting all formats, useful variations, notes explaining case-by-case quirks with the models, typing up info in da previews, etc etc---and I just haven't kept up with myself lately; just punchin' out basic PDOs. (See, if I DON'T include certain things, inevitably I get asked about them; particularly "Is there a PDF of this?")

The scale of this Greatsword is still meticulously in-proportion with my other Dark Souls models. I'm only cheating on making a nice preview thumbnail this time, never on the papercraft itself.

Was inspired to throw this template together by a pet theory I have that Gwyn's main Four Knights each trained their own squadron of Silver Knights, and that it was Artorias's squadron whom, having recently become leaderless thanks to the Abyss, Gwyn chose to accompany him on his quest the rekindle the First Flame. Once this occurred to me, I couldn't help notice that only Black Knights wielded greatwords (Artorias, famous for greatsword-ing), whereas only Silver Knights are shown to wield spears (Dragonslayer Ornstein's speciality) and greatbows (Hawkeye Gough's). Black Knights do wield halberds, but their movesets are way different from spears----suspiciously greatsword-ish. As for Lord's Blade Ciaran, the fourth and final Knight, who dual-wields a curved-sword and dagger, maybe, as a loner assassin-type, she didn't teach much; or, maybe she was a recent graduate herself, Artorias's protoge in the same way Smough was Ornstein's...?? Afterthought: Artorias's squadron becoming the Black Knights would also seem to parallel what happened to Artorias himself, as if the master's downfall had jinxed his students to follow in his footsteps....
