Hello. Let's draw my favorite guy 'Tom Ripley' and win all my 11,200 points. All good artists are welcome


Who is Tom Ripley?
There are many versions of Tom Ripley in the books, movies and stageplays.
But Tom Ripley that I mean in this contest is the leading character from the movie in year 1999 called
The Talented Mr.Ripley (Matt Damon version) only.

Rule
Draw Tom Ripley in your own style.
It can be portrait, cartoon, caricature, etc.
(as long as Tom Ripley in your work is recognizable)

No collage. No photomanipulation.
Must be drawing or painting only.
Can be traditional, digital.
3D and craft are allowed.
One person per one piece.

No watermark on the work.
If you want to add your signature, please make it small.

You can draw other characters from this movie too,
as long as Tom Ripley was included in the work.

You can edit your work as much as you want before the deadline.

You have to add this journal in your favorite.  




Judgement
I am the only judge.
I don't judge the winners just by looking at drawing skill,
but I'm also looking for the work that portrays character, feeling or story of Tom Ripley well.
The work that impresses me most will get the biggest prize.
In case I have many favorite entries, I may make a poll to get some votes.
Personal friendship will have no influence on my judgement.

Deadline
The contest has already started on November 25th, 2011.
The deadline is on Feb 29th 2012.

If I have received less than 30 entries by Feb 29th 2012, the deadline will be extended until I get 30 entries.




Agreement
All works that were sent to me will be featured on my profile page. [link] , but it doesn't mean all of them already are entries in this contest.

Only works that follow the rule and have 'not-too-low' quality will be counted as entries. And I am the only one who counts.  

Frankly, Tom Ripley is my all-time favorite character. And this may be the only contest I'll hold in 10 years. So, I devoted a lot of points as prizes because I want to see at least 30 good works in this contest. If you think you can draw as good as the example works or even better than the example works, you are very welcome to this contest. I don't hurry. Please do your best.

All contestants have to be able to wait for the result until I get 30 entries [30 good works]. Judgement will not begin as long as I get less than that.

No matter how long it's gonna take, I promise I'll never end this contest as long as I haven't got 30 entries and given all the prizes to the winners.

1st place winner will get 4,000 points
2nd place winner will get 2.000 points  
3rd place winner will get 1,000 points  
4th place winner will get 700 points  
5th place winner will get 500 points   
10 Honourable Mentions : winners will get 200 points  [200 points per person]
5 Special prizes : winners will get 200 points  [200 points per person]
