Device Theater Writings: The Sound of Broken Heart

I know the sound of broken hearts. The cracking begins It seems inaudible until it finally succumbs to Splatter on the floor.I know the sound of broken hearts. I know it is always worse when two break together.A man’s tongue can touch more than one woman’s heart but Isn’t strong enough to hold them both.A man’s fingers can caress two lovers but His arms can grasp only one.I was wrong.I deserve the sounds of broken hearts. My only regret is that the sound does not Come from my own.

Device Theater Writings: Forward Motion

I come from Knowledge. I’m going to be responsible. I come from the cursed Silver Spoon. I’m going to be the rock others can depend on. I come from musical communication. I’m going where I can be a servant to others. I come from not going anywhere. I’m going to become comfortable in my own shoes. I come from empathy. I’m going to not be stagnant.

Device Theater Writings: I Come From Church

I come from John and Mona and Sunday night pot luck. I come from “no beer in the church!” I come from the most liberal of Sunday Schools. I come from the lessons of Shane Claiborne. I come from the lessons of Shane Claiborne. I come from a church with a contemporary service that I help start. I come from Terri Fordham and her cooking. I come from family meaning more than names. I come from a place called home with a family called church.

Device Theater Writings: I Come From

I come from sweet tea and corn bread. I come from the Oliver family. I come from cow pastures and watermelon fields. I come from dancing underneath harvest moons. I come from nerdy conventions. I come from the school of country romance. I come from Wildwood. I come from complacency. I come from a place overrun by retired pissed-off Yankees. I come from a world untouched by malls. I come from John and Mona and Sunday night pot luck. I come from Methodism. I come from Waccassassa and fishing holes. I come from six generations of Floridians. I come from a place I like other people to call home. I come from love.

D.E.M.I.gods Noko awoke in what looked a white marble infirmary. As she regain her senses, she one heavily-cloaked young man sitting near the bed she was occupying and another equally-cloaked seated by a door in the corner. The one closest to her had a yin-yang symbol on his forehead and was holding onto his right arm while breathing heavily as if he had just been hurt. The other man's hood covered his features completely. "Ah," said the yin-yang faced man greeted the elf girl, "Glad to see you awake. Are the two of you doing ok?" As he finished his sentence a wave pain washed over his thin frame, making him wince grip his r...

Day By DayPlease teach me how to love like You The perfect Sacrifice Please teach me of Your loving grace Please do so day and night. I know not what You plan for me I know not but my pride Please teach me how to deal with this This thorn that's in my sideI know that You've been by my side Down all the paths I've traced And yes I know Your sadness, God Your tears stream down my face. I scream for those who're lost, oh God For those who shy away From all the things You've made for us And shown us of Your way.Teach me of Your ways oh God Please do so everyday Please show me what You plan for me Please do so day by dayDear God I'm lost withou...

Word Vomit

From dreams with umbilical cords, to book reports, story boards, I'm not even sure where I'm at anymore, but I'm tryin' to stay pure through the curves that life likes to hurl in my general direction. It's not like I'm having trouble figuring out what I don't doubt or what where my clout won't make people pout and throw their little bouts of tantrums because their tout does not influence my general direction. My attention span maybe lacking, and my student loans are stacking to heights even Patacki would want to be backing, but I'm still flying so high Kanye'd be afraid of attacking for fear of distracting my general direction.

Devious Journal Entry

0 min read

Sorry for taking so long to do this. I had a problem with my email.Rules:1. You must post these rules. 2. Each person has to share 10 things about themselves. 3. Answer the 10 questions asked to you and invent 10 questions the people your tag will have to answer. 4. Choose the 10 people and put them on your journal. 5. Go to their page to inform them they are tagged. 6. Not something like "You are tagged if you read that." 7. You have to legitimately tag 10 people. 8. No tag-backs. 9. You can't say you don't do tags. 10. YOU MUST MAKE A JOURNAL ENTRY, NOT COMMENT 10 things about me: 1. I live in a church as a resident staff and, after I gr...
