On first glance it looks good and fooled me to think it was a mag cover. On closer look it became more obvious and the intention is easily recognisable. Considering the other comments, there is a clash in the typography and the semiotics of the design. It looks like a professional production of a kids club newsletter. The message doesn't say 'I'm a professional and skilled and ready for business'.

nice try, but i'm not trying to be mean, if you want to reach outside the box, pleas google the font's you want to use, to see what you are communicating in there use. like your mast head, is in papyrus, communicates that your 5 years old. the photo is not bad, but the only thing in any kind of focus is the eraser, what are you trying to communicate. If you want to work for a rag you might want to read up on layout books,
