The USS Voyager shortly before her seven years long journey in the Delta Quadrant.

"This ship has been our home, it's kept us together, it's been part of our family."
– Captain Kathryn Janeway

Shortly before Voyager's launch, Captain Janeway's Chief of Security and Second Officer, Lieutenant Tuvok, had successfully infiltrated the Maquis ship Zola, commanded by the disgruntled former Starfleet officer Chakotay. The Maquis ship, including Tuvok, went missing in the Badlands and Voyager was subsequently assigned to locate and capture the missing vessel.
After leaving Space Station Deep Space 9 and entering the Badlands, Voyager was swept 70,000 light years into the Delta Quadrant where it also discovered Chakotay's missing Maquis vessel which had experienced a similar fate.

A Favorite of mine.

I noticed something kind of interesting about the Voyager; from certain angles, she almost looks like a spoon.

And she and her crew went boldly where no one has gone before. :D

Well done
Pity it was a center of such a lame series :(

Thanks!
Yeah, Voyager was the weakest of the Trek Spin Offs. But still more enjoyable than Discovery in my opinion.

Discovery fails to classify as Star Trek, I would gladly disacknowledge its existence.

Still holds up as my favourite Star Trek series. :)

I prefer TNG as my favorite Star Trek Incarnation.
Voyager had a bit weak writing.

I just found the concept of being lost, without support, and the bond the crew develops something no other Trek series has been able to replicate before or since.
I do agree somewhat there, the overuse of the Borg for example in the later half of the series really weakened the series and made the Borg feel less threatening.

The concept of Voyager was good. Not new, but good. What i miss was some sort of consequences like in Battlestar Galactica. After every Voyager episode everything goes resets. They fire torpedos, loosing shuttles and equipment, Voyager was damaged and such things, and in the following episodes everything is back at start.

I agree I would've preferred the consequences shown through each episode. With some episode purely about finding the resources to repair the ship.

Basically Gilligan's Island in Space. One little mission, 7 years of great exploration and terrors beyond the imagination.

This is wonderful!  Voyager is my other favorite ship!  I miss Voyager still but thanks to Netflix, I just binge watch all the series, well, except the animated one.  Great render!

Voyager was never something i called "favorite". Im more a The Next generation Guy. TNG was the ultimate incarnation of Star Trek, but Voyager was a decent show too but the writing should have been better. It would have been great if Voyager had continued in film form for a while to show what happened after they return to the Alpha Quadrant.

I think they were all unique in their own ways.  Complete story lines in their own right, and I love how they fit so well in the Star Trek universe.
The series I love most is Deep Space 9.  I binge watch Star Trek on Netflix on a regular basis.  The one thing I feel that made these series incredible was the writing on all of them.  I would actually say my least favorite of the series was Enterprise, even though I love Scott Bakula in general and especially as Captain Archer.
I have not seen any of the new series and probably won't.  The Next Generation was truly inspiring too, but as I said, in my opinion they all were unique.

Yeah Voyager. I feel so old thinking how many years ago it ended. I feel even worse when I think about B5. Waaaah! :D (Big Grin)

Oh yeah, i feel similar, when the todays youth talk about movies like "Aliens" and refer to them as "Have you seen this really old movie..."
For Star Trek it was such moment, when DS9 recently celebrates its 25 Years Anniversary. It feel to me like yesterdays, when i saw the pilot premier in TV.
