Star Trek Shelf 2

A Star Trek Shelf i built a while ago for a friends birthday. Of course inspired by the Enterprise-D lineage display in the observation lounge where you can see these half ships mounted at the wall. I use the classic Constitution class design for my shelf.
I made it around the size of the big 1:350 scale Enterprise model from Polar Lights, so it is around 1 meter in length. Materials are wood and some plastic parts, hold together with flat angle brackets. I simply cut it out with a jigsaw and round up everything with a file and grater to get the round shape of the engines section and the warp nacelles. The Bussard Collector on the top of the warp engine was an old kinder surprise egg. The finished shelf is painted with brown laque.
