Commission work for OutcastxEmpires :iconwarlordsempire: "A random Prometheus class Image".

Star Trek Icon

The Prometheus-class was a highly classified Federation starship, designed for deep-space tactical assignments. It was one of the most advanced Starfleet vessels in operation during the later half of the 24th century.

The Prometheus-class was one of several starship designs, along with the Sovereign and Defiant classes, that were created in response to the Borg threat following the USS Enterprise-D's encounter with a Borg Cube in System J-25 in 2365.

After testing the new Multi-Vector Attack Mode on the USS Prometheus Starfleet rushed the construction of two further vessels, the USS Cerberus and USS Heracles. Both of these vessels were in service by late 2375, and the Cerberus served as Admiral William Ross's flagship from 2376 to 2379.

By the early 25th century, the Starfleet Corps of Engineers had developed sister classes to the Prometheus. The Phoenix- and Cerberus-classes, and in 2409 Starfleet introduced the Hephaestus-class.

Great image and design - love it :) Tell me, which post bits did you do in AE? The nacelle glows look great - was that post or were they generated by the 3DS renderer? cheers
