I like the basic setup and the angle, and the background is very nice, but a number of the meshes seem 'dropped' on for lack of a better phrase.

On the Normandy itself, I'd suggest playing with the levels or something, perhaps lightening the blacks or adjusting the contrast so it blends better. There's also no clear idea of where the primary light is coming from, so the absence of evident shading makes it look a little flat.

Concerning the fighters, the idea of blurring to denote speed is good, but the fact that they all appear to be flying in formation (and thus, at the same speed) goes against the fact that they all have differing levels of focus, and that doesn't appear to be affected by distance to the camera.

Finally I'd experiment with making the engine burn more noticeable, particularly on the Normandy herself. Not necessarily slapping a load of lens flares on top, but making it evident that there's some power there.

Just a few suggestions. Looking forward to see what you come out with next. :)
