There is no cosmic law that states artists must suffer many long years and demeaning day-jobs before a window of opportunity cracks open just enough to hop on through.
Fellow deviant Brian Kesinger is a case in point.
His first “day-job” in 1996—he was hired straight out of his senior year of high school—was drawing Tarzan for Disney.
Brian stayed at Disney and he considers every day there a part of his ongoing education as an artist. He most recently worked on “Wreck It Ralph,” and has become active in the story department, where he

Since the beginning of 2013, we have come across artists of many types who have taken an interest in participating in our ambitious collaboration project, Project: Monthly Illustration Collab. We have seen some lovely work of all styles that you can scroll through on the page's slideshow to see. If you are wondering what our goals are by organizing this effort, articles have been written in full detail on our website here and covered in a press interview here.

EtherFuture have recently acquired a fantastic original, fantasy audio drama project in our repertoire called Phoenix Wings. The series, solely created by our group's Co-Writer ~DivinexRose (https://www.deviantart.com/divinexrose) features some incredible up-and-coming pro voice talent, and a well-established indie music composer. The production has already released an impressive seven episodes over the course of a year, a rarely achieved feat. The eighth is currently in production.

2013 is filled with a bunch of changes. Though one thing has not changed:
Our neglect of this dA account. x_x
Seriously though, what has not changed is our attendance at anime cons.
This year, we will be taking a break from Artist Alleys. Some of this is voluntary action, and some is not. Either way, we are dedicating this year to producing some amazing work for 2014. What some of us WILL be doing is cosplaying and representing EF as ambassadors, however.
In the mean time, we will be attendees at the following cons:
AnimeNEXT (June 7-9) & Otakon (August 9-11)
...And that is all so far. If you are attending, let us know in the comments.
