Abandon Ship...

After having my eyes opened to the actions of the DA Team back in Mid-October, I've made the decision to go dark. The page will remain here, but I'm not going to be here much at all. I was going to make something of an effort to return to upstage the drivel put out by the TechBros and AI addicts, but it's no longer worth it. Too many people siding with a military-driven dictator disguising his actions under an alleged just cause (and even though there's a few of them about now, it should be easy enough to work out which one they've taken particular interest in). New Featured Deviation Image

Can't see anybody bothering to read this, but I've only just found out about the reputation of the artist that I previously knew as Purple Kecleon (who did my previous Featured Deviation, that of the flower-topped Umbreon, Selena). The artist (who has also gone by the names of Papaya Kitty, Glip, Glitched Puppet, and more) has been involved in some quite frankly disturbing stuff (and if you're aware of my tastes, a lot of stuff would normally slide, so long as it's fictional, and not grounded in real life or involving real people - and well, for the most part if it's not gore). But she and her two life partners (Marl the former and Lexy/Eevee/Vee-kun the current) are not what they seem, and I refuse to support them and their art, impressive as it used to be. I won't go into detail (you can find it with a google search, but it's really for the best to just leave it as is and cut support from them, it goes into highly disturbing levels of depth, and I'd rather not read it again).
Selena has been retired for a while, I might recreate her with a new design and name in future, only keeping the concept (as I have my own reasons to sever connections with that name). Who knows, I might actually become more active in the future, if I can get over my huge crushing motivational problems. In the meantime, you can have an image from last year's Inktober as the current FD.

Commissions Anyone?

So, I'm wanting to push to get the ball rolling, because, as I've said the last few times, I'm in dire financial trouble, and I'd rather not go bumming for cash. I'd rather earn it. So, over the next two weeks (which is the time I know I have available to work on it thusfar), I'm opening commissions.
Sketches: $3
Line art: +$1
Colour: +$2 (because with my current equipment, colouring takes a long time)
Additional Characters: +$1
Background: +$1
Do be aware, as I do live with my family, I may take a little longer than expected, especially if the drawing is adult in nature. Depending on the complexity, I might need to push for further costs, because of how long it would take, so please confirm your interest and what you want me to draw (preferably with as much detail/references as possible) by e-mail at registeel999[at]gmail[dot]com, and I'll write you up a quote. I'd normally ask people to note me, but if I get them on my gmail account, they'll be easier to track because unlike the notes, gmail goes straight to my phone.
Also note, my Paypal account is at registeel999[at]hotmail[dot]com. Do not mix the two up, and please, if you're going to pay me anything, do NOT mention adult themes (especially anything to do with porn or sex) in your subject or message otherwise I will get in serious trouble, and I'm sure neither of us want that.
By the way, don't pay me in advance (or at least don't pay me before we've agreed on what I'm supposed to be doing). If you do, I will take it as a donation and you won't receive anything from it. Under normal circumstances I'd return it, but what with being under extreme financial pressure and the fact that Paypal would probably charge me to return it, I cannot afford to do so.
Please, any advice or suggestions will be gratefully accepted, so if you have any suggestions, leave a comment here.
I'll keep a list here (and on subsequent journals), and I'll try to put up a picture to coincide with each journal, so people know the update is up.

Thoughts on Commissions?

So, after a long absence from doing art frequently, I've thought long and hard about why I'm not motivated enough to work on my art. And then it struck me. I have practically no money. And well... what motivates me to work well is if I have a good enough income, so I have the energy to devote to my art, and the guy who decides how much dole (bare minimum living funds, supplied by the British government to those out of work, provided you can prove you're looking for work, so you don't die of starvation) I get clearly thinks I get too much.
So, who would be willing to pay for me to do them art? I'm only making sketches and inks available for the moment, as I don't feel I currently have enough skill to do more under a strict deadline. How does this sound:
£5 - A4 sketch, one character. £1.50 per extra character.
£7 - A4 inked (digital). £2 per extra character.
£8 - A4 inked (traditional). £2.50 per extra character?
These are only ideas at the moment. What to you think? Should they be more? Less?
Please take into account that I'm going to be living off this income, and I don't currently have a lot of people watching my artwork.
Also, I am accepting donations (Paypal: registeel999[at]hotmail.com), if there's a decent amount then I would concider lower costs.
Do note that anyone I am currently doing art for will not be affected (as they count as REQUESTS, not commissions). However, donations would be appreciated.

Oh yeah, and yes, I am drinking Tango. It was ridiculously cheap, so no, I'm not wasting money on pop
