Biography:
Abner Jenkins was born in Baltimore located in the state of Maryland but has later moved to New York City who is a master mechanic at an aircraft parts factory who became dissatisfied with his boring, low paying job. Using his considerable mechanical knowledge, Jenkins built an armor-plated and strength-augmenting suit that includes a pair of gravity-defying wings, suction-fingered gloves, and a cybernetic control helmet along with a variety of weapons added within the suit.
Adapting the supervillain identity of The Beetle, he would begin his own criminal career while using the suit and all of his weapons along with his combat skills for burglary, working for the highest bidder, assassinations, and the possibility to be hired as an assassin by any crime lord.
However, he also catches the attention of the superhero Spider-Man and that he constantly loses in every fight against him.
Despite all his failures, The Beetle will always find a way to defeat Spider-Man since he believes that beetles are the more superior than spiders.
