Debra Whitman-Thompson is an experienced science teacher, scientist, and secretary in the biophysics department of Empire State University and is also the married wife of the young yet strong football coach Flash Thompson regardless of their age difference.

Despite her excellent skill in biophysics and other types of science, she somehow suffers from a mental instability which led her to idealize people and invert values and that she needs desperate help from either her coworkers or her husband if they available so they can at least try to comfort her from all the pressure and anxiety she had been carrying for years.
