Netflix's Fantastic Four: The Mole Man

Biography:
Harvey Elder is a former nuclear physicist who often searching for new deposits of radioactive materials to mine. It was a dangerous job, but he was fascinated by the discoveries made before and how humanity has not even scratched the surface of how far it can go in finding and searching the stuff.

He even went as far as to set up his own research on the “Hollow-Earth”, in which below the surface is a series of underground areas that have never been explored, containing a prehistoric environment. But, the idea was often shunned and ridiculed for being too ridiculous, so Harvey was forced to make an expedition without the science community’s consent.

Unfortunately, he got more than what he bargained for.

Starting his expedition in a large mound full of radioactive elements, there was an incident that wound up harming Harvey, partially blinding him and almost breaking an ankle, and even marooning him down into the area he had discovered. And while he was pleased to find that the Holo-Earth was real, he had no way of getting back to the surface with his equipment destroyed.

He decided to continue exploring the underground areas, logging his research progress while doing so. But as he spent more time there, he was exposed to radioactive elements that slowly mutated him, cause him to devolve. He became more of a ground burrowing mole than man.

Soon enough, Harvey came across a clan hollow earth dwellers, who welcomed him as one of their own. They had a distaste for the surface, which Harvey grew to despise as well, since nothing good came out of his life back up there while down here, he was vindicated and among peers.

Deciding that they show the surface world what they had done, the newly dubbed Mole Man had decided to take revenge with his brethren against the upper world as bury them just as they buried him.

Fortunately, the world’s greatest family known as the Fantastic Four will be there stop him.
