I've taken up a sudden interest in creating abstract 3d forms experimenting with some knowledge I've picked up in color theory class. The central composition is not very dynamic and the relfections are a little "been done", yes I know. By the way. This scene is completely composed from helixes (spirals) and no they weren't randomly placed. I definately tried to stay away from intersecting forms. I have a thing about that. There were three lights used in the scene with soft shadows. Bright yellow, blue, and brownish red.
