Eternal Champions 3 is the fourth installment in the Eternal Champions series.

Story Mode
Arcade Mode
the player chooses a character and goes through 9 stages in which the player goes through the chosen character's story. the 1st 6 stages are against random opponents, the 7th is against the chosen character's rival, the 8th is against Chaos Champion and the 9th is against Unity Champion.
Score Attack Mode
the player chooses a character and goes through 9 stages in which the player needs to get the highest score possible. the 1st 7 stages are against random opponents, the 8th is against Chaos Champion and the 9th is against Unity Champion.
Time Attack Mode
the player chooses a character and goes through 9 stages that the player needs to finish in the shortest time possible. the 1st 7 stages are against random opponents, the 8th is against Chaos Champion and the 9th is against Unity Champion

Continuing on from last month's excitement, the news is that the creators of the Eternal Champions series are gauging interest for a third entry into the series. As Sega currently hold the official copyright, I theorise that maybe alternative characters and timezones would feature in this new project. My theory is supported by recent images submitted to Shoryuken.com, the source of the original poll.
Eternal Successors reveals its first character: Skinner Chen (March 5, 2017)
The first announced character for Eternal Successors is Skinner Chen, a sort of expy for Larcen Tyler. Quoting from the article: 'Unlike (Larcen), who was a gangster with a heart of gold... Skinner Chen is a veteran and war hero who comes home to find his family killed by the mob.' Also in the article is a sample newspaper cutting of the turning event, which should be of some interest to fans!
The Eternal Champions spiritual successor now has a name, and some sweet new mockup renders (April 13, 2017)Here's some screenshots of the game's style, which looks to be fully 3D rendered in the Unreal 4 game engine (as is the newly-released Tekken 7). There's also a Trident-like character in there too!
So what do you guys think!? Are you excited (or worried, or indifferent) about the news? As Eternal Successors is relying on fan feedback for it to exist, it's important to share the news around. So get to it!
