Hello friends, I know I seldom post here anymore, which I apologize for. With my work schedule and my creative output, I've had a difficult time keeping up with deviantART the past year or so. However, now that I'm on, I wanted to share with you what I've been up to and how I've been doing of late. Let's see, since the last journal entry I posted, I've gotten promoted at my job as a college professor. I've had my second collection of poems, Feats of Alchemy, published by Alien Buddha Press. Ultimately, I'm flourishing as an educator and writer, which makes me very happy. Aside from that in my personal life, my partner and I now live in our own home, we're mulling around the idea of getting married considering we've been in this for nearly 4 years, which is hard to believe. Beyond work and personal life, my creative life outside of writing has also flourished. I've been fairly active on both YouTube and TikTok. Well, 2021 is here and I have yet to update my deviantART. I know I rarely update this thing anymore despite telling myself that I always will. Here's hoping this year will be a more active one for me. Truthfully, I really miss the community here because back when I was active, I had a very strong, close-knit group of friends / followers. Perhaps some of that can be re-established. We'll see. Considering it's been 3 months since I've updated, I figured I'd fill everyone in on how things are going. My partner and I just had our 2-year anniversary. My success as a poet is continuing to mount especially considering I have about 30 publications (including a book) under my belt. My career as an English professor is continuing to build and I just found out that I'll be Editor-in-Chief of our school's literary magazine. Most importantly, my mental health has improved significantly. I started getting therapy again last year (after 10 years), have been diagnosed with Bipolar 2, and am on
