It would be an understatement to say that Lord Maelstrom is by far the most feared individual in the underworld. Everyone fears him, be they lowly muggers or third-world dictators. The rumors that surround him are legion. It is believed that he plans on tearing down the old order and replacing it with a new one where superstition is the cornerstone and dark gods from the beginning of time are worshipped. He is not to be trifled with. He commands an alleged network of spies spread through every major city on the planet. His ruthlessness, cruelty and lust for power are without equal.
