When I previously wrote of my experience with viewing Hololive’s content, I was far more lenient with my description of it than I how I really felt.
So, I decided it was time for a revision.
Plus, I wanted to offer my take on a (as of this writing) recent development from Hololive.
In my four and a half decades of experience in life, I’ve encountered some rather questionable forms of entertainment and fandoms.
That is, they make me question “How the hell is this even a thing?”
For me, Hololive Productions is such a creation.
Basically, Hololive is a professional, all female Virtual Youtuber (or Vtuber) group, started by a Japanese based company known as Cover Corporation around mid to late 2017. There’s a bit more to their story than that, but I’ll keep things simple.
An acquaintance of mine introduced me to Hololive a few years ago. Until that time, I had never heard of Hololive, much less Vtubers.
Intrigued, I figured I’d give it a go, to see what this stuff was about. To be
