I'll come back for you

I have been drawing some sad ponies lately. Lousy mood, I guess. This one was fun, but not particularly easy. Background was redone 2-3 times.

I'm not entirely sure where I stand on Nightmare Moon. I do think she and Luna are the same person if not the same mind, as internal conflict is always so much more interesting than external. It does seem to me, however, that there is some distinction between the two, if only in that Luna might regret where Nightmare Moon would hate. Here, have some mood music: [link]
