Simple, yet evocative. A bridge to far? Maybe not, but certainly a great image made all the better for its simplicity in concept and design. It may not adhere to the traditional idea of composition but that's what makes it all the more interesting. And in the words of the artist herself rules are indeed made to be broken. As the middle distance is obscured by the model we vaguely get the impression of a path leading us into the unknown, and lends us the idea that the model is seeing something we will never see. Whatever that may be lets hope that the parasol indicates a bright future.
