I want to tell you "there're" is wrong, but really it's a perfectly common utterance, even if it looks weird in print. Kind of like "couldn't've."

Anyway, "just a pegasus"? Racist much?

Rather than "What are we doing if it happens again" it should be "What are we going to do if it happens again". Doing is present tense meaning currently doing.

I can't think of a single case where English uses the present progressive to refer to future actions, hypothetical, conditional, and/or indefinite or not. I would not agree that that construction works here.
