Tudor Dress Foresleeves

Here are the fore sleeves (or under sleeves as I like to call them) of my Tudor dress. I'm using Simplicity pattern no. 2589 to make the whole entire Tudor dress.

The sleeves are made out of white "silkessence" fabric (It's a fake silk with a lighter weight than real silk), black flocked taffeta, and buttons with rhinestones on it. I didn't modify the sleeves pattern in any way, except I miss cut some of the openings in the sleeves. I was able to fix them and hide the mistakes, but it did make me panic when I realized it wasn't cut the way the pattern called for. :D

Right now all I need to do is make the "under skirt" and the whole entire costume will be officially completed. There are still some minor detail things I don't like about parts of the costume (Such as the way the zipper looks in the back of the gown) and I still need to attach ribbons to the gown and these fore sleeves so the fore sleeves won't fall off while I'm wearing them, but I'm waiting until I'm done working on the whole entire costume before I work on the little nit picky details. ;)
