^^ I really like this!

Anyway, I'm going to colour this one, I just needed a backup just in case something did go really wrong while colouring it, so you'll have to deal with this until you get the coloured one...

Well, first of all, congradulations on three things. 1) You cleaned up your lines to create a base sketch that doesn't like shifty. 2) you stuck well with the japanese anime style, which is the original style that the characters are drawn in. 3) you showed true initiative when you drew this, and did your best.

Some critique I shall now give you. Bear in mind that I am not god, and I do not know everything. This is just my humble opinion as a fellow artist.

1) When I do a base lineart, I always try to make the lines as dark as possible. Sometimes I even ink if that's the way to get the job done. I try to use a Gumby eraser to get all the squiggles really gone, and make sure all my lines are fluid. While your lines are clean, the tint is slightly too grey. I would try and darken it.

2) When it comes to Hiei and Kurama, everyone has their own interpretation of how they're going to look, and therefore I can't comment because my image may be different than your image and so on and so forth. However, the arm Hiei's using to hold onto Kurama in the canon anime is branded with the Dragon of the Darkness flame. Some people opt out of drawing it, some don't. You might have opted out on purpose, in which case, to each his own. In case you just forgot.. I'm reminding you. Don't worry about it.

3) Their eyes look like their looking more up than at each other. Just in my opinion. Maybe if you lowered the iris? It might be smart to get a ruler out and simply sketch a light line from one iris to the other, and then draw them perpendicular to each other. I know I've done that before.

And finally, 4) Hands are, have been, and will always be a pain in the patootee to draw, trace, or imitate. I'm not below using images to trace from when it comes to hands, especially anime hands. You've got two hand poses that are difficult to convey, but excellent when pulled off well. Hiei's hand and Kurama's hand need work, but then again, everyone has to work hard on hands.

You're working with a solid base, now you just have to build up! Hope this critique helps!
