Submissions Guidelines: Updated 9-10-11!

Since it has been requested, here are some general things to keep in mind for submitting to the group:

:bulletblue: Submissions into all folders except Featured are automatically accepted.
:bulletblue: Members should be able to submit to all folders except Featured. If you can't submit to a folder, let Rad know!
:bulletblue: Please, please, please submit art/fanfiction into the correct folders!! See this blog entry for further details!
:bulletblue: We generally don't run "quality-check." There are only two reasons we may reject a submitted deviation...
:bulletyellow: We're drawing the line at redundancy. If you have two or three or seventeen pictures that are essentially very similar in one folder, we may choose to remove a number of them from the folder out of consideration for our 100+ other members. Please respect the time and interest of your fellow Members!
:bulletred: And of course, we abide by deviantART's rules and policies regarding permissions to use existing artwork.

ONLY post work that you have created. If you use an existing work of art, make sure you have the original creator's written permission. If not, the deviation will be booted from the group and there may be consequences.

Addendum: We will not accept fanfiction that has a preview image of someone else's work without a link to the original work and a statement that the deviant has gained the original artist's permission to use the piece.

Although the linked blog entry is for another anime group, the rules and explanation are the same. Please read this entry and make sure you understand it. These are things you should already know as a member of deviantART. If anything is not clear, please feel free to ask Rad, Nijibug, or SirLadySketch.

I want an honest opinion from you all... my fellow escaflowne-fanatics. I'm thinking about using paint and canvas for the first time in a very long time to make a few Escaflowne Fanarts for an Anime Convention Art Auction.
1. Do you think I should give it a try or stick to my copecs?
2. Do you think I should re-do some of my current works like an older Van or a chibi cast? Or do some new stuff?
3. Do you think anyone will actually be interested?

I also have a fanfiction... It's called The Black Dragon Prophecy and can be found on ff.net -- It's about Dilandau.
