Having missed this particular kerfuffle (thankfully), I'd still say that it says more about the history of the depiction of women in comics (and thus what people have learned to expect) than it says about anything else. Personally I'm hoping DC is looking to see who can follow the instructions to the letter *without* going all soft-porn. That said, I wouldn't bet money on that hope.
I really like your take on the instructions, and the style in which you've done the whole thing.
