xxxHolic ReviewHi ya. So, after my Flutter Brutter review (see description), I began to think of other shows that I like, wondering if any of them had done lessons like this better. And, lo and behold, I found the perfect example with one of my favourite Manga and Anime series xxxHolic.
xxxHolic is an anime and manga series, though the manga came out first. It focuses on main character Watanuki Kimihiro, who is a sear, meaning that he can see ghosts and spirits, much to his chagrin, as these spirits often want to eat him. One day he comes across a ‘wish granting’ shop, which is run by Yuuko a sorceress with great power and wisdom, who makes a deal with Watanuki, saying that if he works for her for a certain amount of time, she will make it that he will never be bothered by spirits again.
The series follows a half slice of life, half fantasy adventure format, with Watanuki, together with his two friends, Kunogi Himawari and Doumeki Shizuka, meeting guests of the shop, learning some life le
My thoughts on every Disney sequelAladdin 2: My god, this is painful to look at.
Aladdin 3: That’s better. Though why wasn’t Genie given more to do in the first wedding?
Beauty and the Beast, Christmas: I’m so bored. You could have done so much to expand the romance between Bell and the Beast and all you do, is give us a recap.
Pocahontas 2: I have several questions in the wake of this movie, but aside from that this was fun.
Lion King 2: First movie was Hamlet, now we have Romeo and Juliet, only… good.
Extremely Goofy Movie: Over ten years and it’s still a blast to watch. Though, now that I’m an adult, I have to wonder if prissy-pants ever got actual cumupens in the legal sense. You know, like he should after almost killing people!
Mermaid 2: Arial, you do realise you’re setting yourself up for failure, right?
Lady and the Tramp 2: The first movie was a love story between an upper class lady and a street-smart playboy. This is a story about their kid learning where he belongs
The Day You Fell "Mum, dad, I'm home!" Light called as she walked through the front door of her home. "And I would really like an explanation as to why the shopping list called for ten packs of sparklers, two large packs of streamers and twenty packets of Chocolate covered macadamias." She paused at the macadamias, looking them over before putting them back in the bag with an embarrassed mumble. "...Not that... I'm complaining."
She looked around the room, trying to find any sign of her family, only to find the place completely empty. She frowned in confusion. She thought she'd spoken loud enough to be heard anywhere in the house. Walking further in, she continued to call for them, but sill no one responded. She grumbled as she walked to the kitchen.
"Geez, where is every..." She trailed off as she stood in the doorway.
There in the kitchen, was her mum, dad, Uncy Papy, Aunty Ton-Ton, Alphy, Undyne, Asgore,
First Winter Light hummed happily as she tied the laces of her boots. It was winter, her first winter after leaving the Underground with her new family. Today they were going to be going to the park for some fun. Nothing was going to stop this from being a great day.
“Light, dear,” Light heard Toriel calling for her. “It’s time to go.”
“Coming mum!” Light called back cheerfully as she got to her feet.
She took one step towards her family, before she found herself landing square on her face in the snow. She heard the startled shouts of her family as she sat up, dusting snow off of her face. That was embarrassing. She wondered what had caused her to trip like that. She looked behind her a saw a large tree branch sticking up out of the snow, just berley enough to trip over. She glared at it for a moment before turning her attention back to her family, who were now s
