Pauline Palita is a Visual Artist based in Manila, Philippines. Studied Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Advertising Arts at the University of the East Caloocan.
She joined various painting competitions in which she bagged several awards including the Silver medal in the Red Cross 3rd IHL International Humanitarian Law Painting Competition, 2nd Prize in Painting Competition Category in the UE CFAD 48th Foundation Anniversary Student Competition. and 3rd Prize in Oil/ Acrylic Painting Category in the UE CFAD 49th Foundation Anniversary Student Competition. She also received a Medal of Distinction for her commendable Works of Arts given by the AMA University.
She is known for her "Water Color Splash Series" , a series of watercolor portraits with different themes and subjects using her unique style in painting.
Watercolor was first introduced to her by her college painting professor and said that:
"Watercolor is the hardest medium to use."
After that she wanted to prove that she can master it cause all you need is practice and passion to master it because Pauline believes that:
"The secret to doing anything is believing that you can do it. Anything that you believe you can do strong enough, you can do anything. As long as you believe."
Due to her unique watercolor style she is the artist behind the viral watercolor portrait series of the Heneral Luna cast. The whole watercolor series is officially purchased by Fernando Ortigas, the executive producer of Heneral Luna, to be given as gifts to the celebrities who took part in the film. One of her portrait paintings was used as an album cover of the multi-platinum acoustic singer-songwriter and music icon Noel Cabangon.
