Tera Natura by Eriyal Tera Natura by Eriyal
EDIT: Huge thank you for the DD. It was a long-term goal of mine and it's nice to finally see it happen ^^

"All will end exactly where it began, in the womb of an apathetic mother"

Took me about 22 hours or so to finish this. Well worth it though, since it's one of my favorite pieces now ^^

This piece is really dense lol. I like your tonal balance though. That magenta is to die for <333

I've probably spent at least 20 minutes on this piece just slightly adjusting the values and colors. Just pulling every possible slider for a small value in either direction.
And yeah, in the end it really made the blue and the magenta pop out!

Nice. Well continue to progress. Color play is something I value a lot. No pun intended.

I don't know how you get so much detail in every painting while still making it look great, but I love it. Keep up the good work!

The key to adding a lot of details without destroying a piece is to just understand values. Like which details are going to be dark, which ones are going to be light and/or medium. Although I don't always follow these rules to a 100%, this video has helped me out a lot when it comes to understanding this www.youtube.com/watch?v=ax130y…
Also, I really know my way around photoshop and that helps a lot!

Sweet, thank you for the helpful advice! I'll be sure to watch the video and try out these methods on my own pieces!

Fantastic work. Awesome colors!
I like the plants in the foreground and how their color converts via the goddess into the color of the background.
Really nicely done!

Thanks! The idea for the flowers converting into the goddess is something i got right as I was finishing the piece. Hopefully it kinda makes it seem like she's made out of those flowers.
