Peasant Blouse by ErinPtah Peasant Blouse by ErinPtah
So did anyone else notice how this segment completely retconned Charlene from "cousin and disinterested stalking victim" to "one-time live-in girlfriend"? What was up with that?

The fact that he likes to borrow her clothing, on the other hand...that's old news.

Eh, I was too busy squeeing at the Charlene mention to take too seriously the details of what he was saying. Since he mentioned a restraining order first, I didn't really take it to mean that Charlene had been retconned to being an actual ex-girlfriend (though Stephen's reality is pretty flexible anyway). Bursting into tears at the sight of him just in her apartment much less in her clothing seems to fit history pretty well. (similar to what Gyffens said too, when I saw the clip I immediately thought of Clover & Shadows)

tl;dr, hey this drawing is cute :D Interesting style with the purple lines. I really like Stephen's expression and the shading on his face and neck. The overall mood of the picture is a bit confusing - the colors are lighthearted, but his expression and hand placement look angry/defensive. (I guess his reaction to Charlene's overreaction?) Too bad this pic didn't include the skinny jeans too XD

He started the Charlene part with "Why can't a guy put on his girlfriend's peasant blouse when she's out of the apartment?", and after the discovery Charlene calls her mother rather than the police, so it does sound like they were living together and emotionally involved at the time. (And Charlene went to art school!) Not that we can't ignore it for writing purposes anyway, the way we do with all the other contradictions in canon XD

This is what happens long after that scene, when adult!Stephen tries to put on something that makes him happy, and spends the whole time scanning his surroundings expecting someone to jump out and yell at him.

...I need to draw Jermaine Maine in a peasant blouse and skinny jeans one of these days.

Aw, yes! More Jermaine Maine would be lovely :) She has grown on me (thanks to Expectingverse/State of Grace)

Actually I didn't notice the retcon - I was too busy being shocked that the trans-verse got even more canon

"Stephen" has actually alluded to dressing in drag a couple of times already - [link] is probably the best example =)

I didn't notice the retcon, actually, I was too busy gaping at the trans-verse becoming even more canon
