1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?

I join on July 10, 2003, so not exactly one of the firsts, but close. 12 years.

2. What does your username mean?

Ha ha, well, way back in the day, nearly 20 years ago now (wow!), when I first got online and started posting about my first fan senshi, her name was Erin, and she was, well, a princess. For whatever reason, my friends at the time started called me Princess Erin after her, and so then I decided to go by Erin-hime, since hime is the Japanese honorific/word for princess. And I’ve been such ever since.

3. Describe yourself in three words.

Nerdy introverted wannbe.

4. Are you left or right handed?

Definitely right handed.

5. What was your first deviation?

I accidentally deleted it a long time ago when I thought that cleaning out my pictures was a smart thing. (It isn’t.) But for the sake of argument, this is my earliest piece now.

6. What is your favourite type of art to create?

Digital art. I can do so much more with it!

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

Probably traditional. Some of the pieces people do with traditional media are just amazing.

9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

Anything of my characters. Otherwise, I’d just say anything of my interests that catches by eye enough that I want to have it forever.

10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

I have…a lot, but I’ll just go with callisto-chan. And not just because she draws a lot of my characters.

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

Oh, definitely callisto-chan. One of these days, one of these days.

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

callisto-chan impacted by life just by being my friend and all that entails. She’s pretty much my muse rival, if that makes any sense. Anything she does, I want to do as well. So when she decided to d an original story, I had to as well. And then watching her stream her art has made me improve my own art using techniques she uses. Of course, I’m no where near her level because I’m lazy, but still.

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?

Paper and pencil, and then Illustrator to ink and Photoshop to color/shade.

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

Usually my room, although sometimes the second bedroom in our apartment.

15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

I don’t really have one, since I’m not a huge member of the community. But seeing DeviantArt grow and change over the years has been both rewarding and interesting. I see the ‘member for 12 years’ on my profile, and it’s just baffling to think of how it was back in 2003. It’s evolved so much since then!

Ryan Hutchinson is an average girl living in a world where vampires are real, and very much a part of every day life.  Living in a town devoted to keeping them out, she discovers a coven of vampires very different from the ones she's heard about on the news and through rumors. As she develops a friendship, and later relationship, with one of the members of the coven, she is thrown into a world she never thought possible, and when she finds a natural defense against them, she quickly becomes vampire enemy number one.

Earthia

Kailyn Vance is a star loving high school girl who has only one dream - to soar amongst the stars.  That dream becomes a reality when she and her friends accidentally get sent halfway across the galaxy and learn that there might not be an easy way to send them home.  While exploring new planets and making new discoveries seem fun at first, they find themselves caught up in an intergalactic terrorist plot that Kai find herself more involved then she could ever imagine.

The Gatekeeper

Persephone Porter is what's know as a Gatekeeper, the protector of the Gates between Worlds.  She has been sent to Earth for her own protection, and is awaiting the day she can return home.  She has since built up a life on Earth, and fears for the day she has to leave it behind.  When she accidentally returns home early, she worries that she left things unfinished, and if she's truly safe.

Modern Day Cupid

Psyche Karalis lives a life of luxury, the sort of life every girl dreams of.  Every girl except for Psyche.  Longing to rid herself of the fame her older sisters have created for themselves, and for herself as a result, she decides to take a chance on a strange invitation from a strange man she feels she's met before.  But upon doing so, she finds herself caught up in a adventure that is far more than she bargained for, amongst beings she thought only existed in the stories her father used to read to her.  And the worst part is that she feels like she's done all this once before.
STATUS: First draft complete (NaNoWriMo version)

Angelus Dei

Robert Defoe is the heir of the mightiest kingdom within the region known as the Five Kingdoms, but it seems like no one has faith that he'll be as good a king as his forefathers.  Buttercup Angelia is an educated farm girl that no one seems to want to marry.  When the goddess they worship suddenly disappears, these two unlikely people are the only ones worried enough to actually want to do something about it, and find themselves on a journey that could change the very face of the world they live in.

Genetic Experiment

Brinna Wyatt is an average girl - except for the fact that she was kidnapped at a young age by scientists who preformed genetic experiments on her.  However, during a routine transport, her ship crashes on an uncharted, primitive planet, killing all on board except herself, stranding her on this strange and alien world.   Left to fend for herself in a halfwit community, Brinna later finds herself employed to a chief of a village halfway across the world, and befriending his family, particularly his Dragon Rider son.  However, as her own secrets start to revel themselves, she finds that the world she's called home for so long might hold secrets of its own.

Waiting for Superman

Lane Wilkinson is a recent college graduate starting her career in the big city.  While she has fears of adapting to this new lifestyle, she discovers that her estranged boyfriend has been protecting the city as the superhero Ultro.  The two reconnect, and things seem to be going very well for Lane, until aliens land new the city who may or may not have Earth's best interest at heart.

In Search of Freedom

Illiana Majere is the crown princess of Ingulia, a conquering kingdom who is both feared and loathed by the surrounding kingdoms and the lands they control.  She has lead a sheltered life thanks to her tyrant king brother who wishes for nothing more than to protect her, but when he fails and she is kidnapped, she finds herself in a strange land with no inclining of ever returning.  The only problem is that her brother doesn't have the same inclining that she does, and has been terrorizing his entire kingdom searching for someone who doesn't want to be found.
