Raito and Buttercup

Since I decided to rewrite Angelus Dei in July for Camp NaNoWriMo, that pretty much means redrawing all the art from ten years ago.  Well, not all the art, just, like, the important ones, I guess?

This one happens to be the only picture I've done of just Raito and Buttercup (Robert and Buttercup at the time), so I felt like I kinda sort of had to redraw it?  Especially since the old one is so...eh, now, lol.

Raito's outfit didn't really get a change other than me taking away the hanging sleeves.  I guess them made him look like nobility, in a way, but considering this is my world and not the real world, I can play around with fashion if I like.  And he looks plenty royal with what he's wearing.  But Buttercup, I definitely did change, and I absolutely love the dress I designed for her!  It's simple and elegant and suits her very well!

(I should have made it longer, since she comments at some point that Lumentian dresses were strangely long for her, since they brush the ground and get dirty.  But at the same time, that was in the old story when her dress had a bit of a train, so...)

Overall, I love this!  It looks like a portrait that they would eventually hang in the palace somewhere, lol.
