Ha, I totally can't blame you for wanting to put off designing a god form for as long as possible. Since yeah, it's harder - sometimes you'll see gods depicted in floor-length robes and togas, and it looks a little too similar to the ladies' dresses for comfort, but this is a nice masculine style, with the added bonus of being practical (since his wings are caught/tangled in a mass of fabric.)

I have to admit, while the deep red really looked good on him, I like the gradient mostly because it matches Psyche's dress. I'm picky like that. But it really is eye-catching, and manages to include all of his key colors in the design! And, like I said, that deep red hemline really pops! Very very appropriate for him. I also like the arm guards - the silver's really pretty, and that leather's really practical. Not that he really needs them, since the arrows aren't physical ones, but it looks cool, and that's the important part.

I also really like the idea that his wings, as a god, are solid. I can't say I understand why, since that's second book stuff at least, but I like the effect it has. Rather angelic, if angels wore robes that exposed massive amounts of their chests and had kind of cocky grins.

I also like how he's holding the bow. It reminds of statues I've seen that have gods stringing their bows by pressing one end against their feet, or something to that effect (which is apparently one way bows can be strung, though I guess it's not recommended unless you have no other choice). So I like to picture him as stringing (or just having strung) his bow here, ready to go out and shoot some people.

But he'll look totally hot and angelic while he's doing it, so that's all that matters. Love it!
