It is for his upcoming fanfic story, well unofficial "reality show" of his own, Mansion Manor. So yeah, while I am not big on Total Drama as I use to, at least I got to read my friend's drafts of his own show, and won't say anything. (NO SPOILERS, WAIT FOR FINAL VERSION)

At least his own cast (Plus Bridgette from TD) are colorful, diverse and fun with potential and all. The contest, they have to live in this mysterious and fancy mansion for the summer and do big challenges and earn vetos, then someone will be removed and the last player standing, wins the $1 million prize.
