Reflections of Shinjuku

I spent most of the day wandering Shinjuku with wet shoes. The rain didn’t let up for hours—just waves of people under umbrellas, alley steam, and neon fighting the gray. I ducked into shops when I could, walked without much of a plan, just letting the city move around me.

When the rain finally stopped, everything changed. The lights came alive in the reflections of water. Something i have always been drawn to, but dont get to encounter all that much being from LA and it rarely rains .

Shinjuku can be overwhelming—loud, crowded, relentless—but in moments like this, it shows you something else: reflection, rhythm, beauty in the noise.
