Thingvellir

Þingvellir is pure natural beauty. This wonderful lake is comfortably situated very close to Rejkyavik, and so we headed there right after breakfast, to watch the sunrise.
The lake was perfectly calm. It was cold outside, but we couldn't help but enjoy wading on the snowy banks, admiring the striking colors of the vegetation, and the constantly-changing clouds and light. A long exposure gave this image the dreamy feel Þingvellir had given me.
