A colourful theropod dinosaur that lived in the Jurassic period. This dinosaur had iridescent plumage but the extent of it is unknown. Maybe in life it would have had iridescent contour feathers and iridescence on the leading edges of flight feathers. Sometimes feathered dinosaurs are depicted with shaggy hair-like feathers, but in flighted theropods there may have been distinctive contour feathers.
omg what a pretty dino OWO
Your work is really exciting! I love natural history subject material too, and I really enjoy the way you represent it!! It's so colorful and complex, but still true to the natural world. You have a talent for making it look like a sketch and a painting and realism all at the same time. Reminds me a bit of the cover art on the book A Natural History of Dragons. Great job! Looking forward to seeing more of this
WOW! This is incredible. You've achieved such dimensionality with the feathers. And I love how the primary feathers cross over each other. The background is so subtle, but it really enhances the piece.
