Let me kiss your pain...

Okay, I have weird dreams.
Okay, I'm STRONGLY influenced by music.
Okay... I kinda listen too much to Emilie Autumn's "Opheliac" CD, which makes my mood.))

I don't want to write anything about the story underneath the picture. I just want to say, that there's a common phrase: "Let me kiss away your pain". In this work there's nothing to do with kissing anything away. It's mostly about making pain worse by a kiss. I bet you can guess what I mean.

Magic, pleasure, suffering - 3 in 1, ho, ho, ho.
Blame my nightmares for this concept.))

Some "insider's" tips:
Originally it's 3000 x 3000 pixels, painted mostly in Corel Painter IX and a bit edited in PShopCS2. At first I wanted to make the man's wings look like butterfly's ones, but finally I decided to try and make them fade and glitter, like smoke and starry sky. And, just in case you're wondering, the light on the girl's face comes from man's eyes.
