I haven't been here in ages.  Anywho...

Thanks to everyone who has used and loved my Photoshop brushes.  I hope to make more soon.

And since I got a new camera, I'll probably upload a picture here and there.

So here I am, after a long and boring absence, not that anyone was on the edge of their seat waiting or anything.

I've been artistically stagnant for awhile, and ill (anemia ftl), but I've been working on some crap the past couple days that I'm rather pleased with.  Not photography or zombies or brushes, but pencil on paper, doodle type drawings that are half too cute for their own good and half subtley bizarre.

But anyway.  That's that.

So I haven't done anything in forever and I'm beginning to feel stale.  I've sketched out some Christmas brushes for Photoshop, but it's nothing too terrific; I'm too distracted.  There is SO much happening because of the holidays that I have no time for myself.

It's ice cream time!

I am still relatively new to this community.  I have very few watchers and have uploaded very little that's worth a damn.  My Photoshop brushes get all the Love, and some unwanted attention...  It seems a gentleman in Saudi Arabia jacked my brushes, along with materials created by several other deviantART members and put them on his website...  The artists have done all they can.  I don't know what the outcome has been.  You think I'd care more, seeing that my brushes were among the resources that were stolen, but I'm rather apathetic.  Sue me.

The depth of this community amazes me.

As I sift through everything deviantART has to offer I run across hidden treasures, the beauty of which makes the hair on the back of my neck stand erect.  They are, however, few and far between.  You have to dig through a lot of dirt before you find a diamond...  Sorry if I'm insulting anyone, that's not my intention.  My intention is to flatter the truly talented artists who belong to this community.  I'm not claiming to be amongst them; I'm mediocre at best.

Hell, a lot of what I find breathtaking could be considered mediocre by professional standards - but I'm no professional - I'm just a girl who knows what she likes.  And amateur artwork is often times far more honest than anything professional.

I like amateur erotica and fetish portraits where the models involved are awkward, but Lovely, not thin, but not heavy.  I adore pictures of bodies touching intimately, when there's true warmth and emotion involved.  I find myself mesmerized by the very few nude photographs of men that are not low quality close up web cam shots of genitalia.

I am fascinated by faces and I find myself captivated by photographs of genuine emotion wrought across the faces of everyday people.  Especially children.   The honesty of a child is a powerful thing.   Their emotions are unbridled and positively paralyzing.
