Hi guys! Sorry I've pretty much fallen off the face of the earth-- I'm buried under homework and college applications. Hope you're all doing well!

On another note, Indian-Ink is holding a contest! Check out details here:…

Hi guys, xxElanite here. I need to apologize for disappearing as well. Anyway -

Bolero-L is holding a logo competition, I thought it would be fun to try as most photo manippers are also good digital artists. Go ahead and enter here:…

q: May I join your group?
a: Sure, go ahead! Just click the join button =)

q: May I join your group as a contributor?
a: We firstly need to see your gallery. As a contributor, you may submit art to our galleries. We do require you to know that we accept only professional manipulators. One other way of getting a chance in the contributors is to donate points/upgrade our group to super. If you do upgrade the group, you will be given a special member title and capabilities to the group. We do guarantee quality services for you in that case.

q: How can I submit art to the galleries?
a: You may submit art only if you're a contributor of the group. You can read how you can become one on the previous question.

q: Why do I need to be a professional photo manipulator in order to join your group as a contributor?
a: This is our purpose. We want to show the world new series of talented equine artists.

q: Can I become a co-founder?
a: Most likely not. We do choose who we would want to make a co-founder depending on their graphic skills or services that could be brought to our group. For more information on this message me (adelina).

q: Is photo manipulation the only type of art you want for your group?
a: Basically yes. Though, we would go a little off the line about this, but it must be very well done, to make us pleased.
We now accept digital painting as well! Working our way to enable all art to be submitted!

q: I love your group. Can I donate something for it?
a: Sure! You can donate anything you would like, but we currently need points. So if you're good enough to us, you can donate some points to the group founder(s).

Have a question not listed here? Note me and I'll try to answer as soon as possible.

Okay so 2 things, by "professional manipulators" do you mean someone who is expert level or someone who mainly makes manipulations?
Second thing, if its the first; is my art good enough to be in this group. If not can I get some comments on what I should improve on?(I'd love these either way:D)

Hello! Sorry, I can't exactly answer your first question, but I'm sure there's someone who can help you :)
However, I can give you some suggestions for improvement! Your work is beautiful and shows some amazing concepts and potential. First things first; what programs are you using and do you have a tablet? Some tips and tutorials I can link you to vary between programs, but I'll just give some general ideas for now.
In this, you show a great understanding of matching colors and themes. However, your cutting is a bit choppy. Also, the horse looks too 'soft' or smudged. Be sure to do all smudging/  lighting, highlighting, recoloring etc on another layer and to lower the opacity. I probably use my smudge tool at 20% strength and then lower the layer opacity to about 60% so you still have the natural definition and coat of the horse. This is a very useful Horse Prep tutorial that covers most prepping needs. and this one too. I'm not sure whether or not the hooves are supposed to be blue, but they do look a bit too fake.. As far as the hair painting; thats something you'll always be improving on! But there are a TON of tutorials out there you can look at and find one that fits your style most.
Hopefully this helps, and I'd be more than happy to help with anything else!
In my favorites, I have a folder for tutorials that I have personally found to be very useful.
