Hey guys, I hope everyone's doing well. As you are all aware it has been a while since the last group update, in fact my username has changed since then (formerly kitsune-girl-247) but alas I am still the same procrastinating founder. Anyways, it is long overdue for this journal as we are rapidly approaching the 500 member mark.

Now down to business. I've been meaning to address a few things, the first being submissions. There has been an influx of submissions over the past few months and things have gotten hard to handle. The first solution to this problem is putting a cap on the number of submissions allowed to be submitted per day. This is very tedious when submitting especially for photographers and new members.
The second and more preferable option is to rally more contributors. If anyone is interested in becoming a contributor please send a note to the group or comment below, after which you will be briefed on what will be required of you, at which time you can either accept or deny the invitation to become a contributor.
Second order business is requesting that you check the time 'till expiry of your submissions, if only a few hours of time is allowed for them to be submitted chances are they will expire before anyone can get to them.
Also, for those submitting journals please sign the bottom with your username/nickname and add "- member request/announcement" to the title to distinguish between Admin/Contest announcements and member requests. Thank you!
Lastly, we haven't had a contest for a while, it would be awesome if we could have more and offer better prizes as well. If anyone has any ideas for contests or would be able to contribute a prize should we have another contest please let me know. c:

I'm sorry if your deviations have expired. Sometimes the time limit is too short and they expire before they can be accepted and other times it's just that the submission process takes too long. Too be frank we're a little under staffed. If you would like to re-submit them, they would be happily excepted. Hope this helps. c:
Probably because no one get's to it in time to say yes or no. Just a guess, same thing happens to me.
