Welcome to equiBREAK!

We’ll be the first to acknowledge that there is no correct way to use your four-legged pixel friends. Whether you draw them, collect them, or create entire worlds, your imagination is your only limitation! For those looking for a more realistic approach, equiBREAK is here to help! We are here to give some structure so that your horses, semi-equine, or four-legged creatures can get some training before getting started in their careers.
Please note that while we do accept any rideable or drivable (cart-pulling, plow-pulling, etc) creatures into the program, this group was originally designed with equines in mind. A lot of the terminology used will be specific to horses, but any rideable or drivable creature is still welcome to participate.

How To Join

Simply click the join button! Requests are automatically accepted.
We have no specific rules in regards to acceptable breeds. Anything equine or non-equine, realistic or fantasy, is welcome in the group. As long as your creature is rideable, they are welcome!

Getting Started

Make sure you read through our journals for all the rules and information you need to submit images and complete training. We offer three different courses: foal, horse, and rider.
Horses of any age may participate, but we recommend the foal course for horses under the age of 3 years.
Prompts may also be completed in any order you like! Our suggestions follow a natural progression, but there are no requirements for the order to draw the prompts.

Updates

These journals were all updated June 18, 2022. Submissions posted after are subject to all the rules in the group journals. All submissions accepted before this date were accepted with previous rules.

So, Question: I started doing the horse course with a stable I'm no longer active with (I think it was over a year ago.) Because that stable isn't active anymore, would I be able to start another horse from my current program on the horse training course, or what I have to finish up with the horse from the other stable? (Sorry If this doesn't make much since, i wasn't sure how to word it.)

Hello, yes of course! You don’t have to finish the programme at all and you might start as many as you want. Many people choose to do multiple programmes with different horses at once, too.
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out:) Hope this has been helpful

by the way i wanted to ask, equine certifications said i could count farm horses as a discipline for their program, does it count for equibreak too? she's intended for pulling plows/etc. or does she need to be trained in an actual show discipline for the final image? :floating:
