This Saturday the 2nd of August a new show opens at the Gauntlet Gallery in San Francisco. The show is titled CONTEMPORARYCONTEMPORAY, and each artist had to submit work in the style of another contemporary artist.
I decided to pay homage to my love of Norwegian Blacck Metal and a certain street artist. My painting is humorous, at least to me, so I had fun making it.
I won't be there as I can't fly out but if you're in the area and want a little bit of culture in your life, stop by and take a look at the art.
This Saturday March 8th, Spoke Art out in San Francisco will be having it's opening reception for it's newest exhibit, "IN DREAMS"! It's a group show that features artwork inspired by the films of David lynch. I'll have two pieces on display, one from Eraserhead and the other being a redesign of Agent Cooper from Twin Peaks.
So, if you happen to live on the west coast and want to attend a pretty fabulous opening, Spoke Art this Saturday is the place to be.
