As the title says, I will be putting Anguish to the side, what do I mean by this? It means it will be shelved for a while in favor of working on a story with a smaller cast.
It is no lie that Anguish has a massive cast of characters, that being 200+, meaning a whole lot of characters to write for and stay consistent with. This is massively taxing and way too big for a first time writer, something I never took into consideration when I started 2 years ago. Also the fact that I care a whole lot for the story as a whole and want it to be the best it can be mean, which means to downsize a bit and work on smaller projects first.
Another reason is because I started this story when I was no good at designing and pretty much bought hundreds of designs for possible characters, which have stacked up and I am now struggling to maintain what I have, making me stressed quite a bit and stir away from the project each time I look at it.
Will "Anguish" still be a thing?
It most certainly will, but it will no longer be my top priority and will likely be getting opinions from other people to try and improve on it. I am not sure when there will be further updates, but rest assured that Anguish will come out someday, hopefully as the best it can be.
Next I will start working on the new project, which I hope to begin on within a day or two. I will also be doing a major go through of my adopted and deciding what to do with them; this new project will have no adopted designs and, as such, I will be backing out of any I have asked for and yet to send for, please understand. There will, however, be drawings of Anguish characters and showing scenes that have been polished and are set in stone.
I look forward to starting on this new project and seeing where it goes.
General update -
I am gonna be spending the next few days working on all I owe and then closing owed work for a while to work on my new project. Thank you for your patience.
