Where did your exodus lead you?

I think I prefer this to the other person-in-the-frame shot. Of course, it's so much more than that. It has so much great expression. I'm putting you on my devinat watch--you've got brilliant talent.

Well, I'm sorry to hear that but I understand... display is a very important part of the artistic process. I'm glad you have your site up and I have bookmarked it to check back when your gallery is up. Please, please, please add me to your update list [if you have one] at because you are one of my favorite photographers of all time. Seriously.

This comment is so very late but I hope you still see it. It seems to say that you are trapped in some picture you have of yourself or that others have of you. You wish to escape this two dimensional prison because constantly being on display leaves you feeling emotional naked. Turning away not because you want to but you have to, looking for an escape into the freedom you once knew. Maybe you meant this picture to be a partial explaination of why you are leaving.

(or maybe my imagination is working overtime again.)

I love the black and white, the way it picks out the highlights in the hair, promotes the soft muscle tone. The shadows it creates and the melancholy it conveys.

The confines of the frame?
It is a visually poetic ending... the degree of objectivity and control in your creative process is what always amazes me about you.
Will I still be able to practice articulating my criticisms on your work(that I oh so enjoy) on your website?

The chrisalys has fully transformed and the pupae can no longer hold the new wings.
