Above the world,
Beyond the skies,
Casting light where darkness lies.
Dance among stars
Embrace each world
Flowing winds of light unfurled
Glowing fiercely
Hearts formed of flame
Intensely bright, never tame
Jarring chaos
Kindles star mass
Lovely filaments of gas
Massive stars die
Novas will cast
Out matter in a fierce blast
Planets may form
Quenched molten rock
Recoil from collision shock
Strange skies look on
To harsh to breathe
Under nebulas that seethe
Vast void vortex
Warping space-time
X-ray sources shine sublime
Yes, despite all of our scars
Zen we are, the stuff of stars
Tiananmen Square
(Sunday, June 4th, 1989)
It started peacefully, a word,
All they wanted was to be heard.
They marched unarmed, they laughed and sang,
In the square several thousand voices rang.
They pitched their tents and laid out beds,
In hopes to turn world leaders heads.
Gorbachev came, the press behind,
He kept to himself what was in his mind.
He swiftly left, the press core stayed,
Caught by where the worlds eyes had strayed.
Again they said they wished to speak,
The students, workers, the brave and the meek.
We listened gladly to their plea,
For freedom and democracy.
Beijing listened not quite so well,
Quietly dismayed by this g

I haven't been posting much here in a while, and there is a reason... I have been working on a mod for Oblivion (a computer game, for those that don't know). After 7 months or so of work, it is finally finished. Mind you, I didn't start from scratch, I took over the project from another modder that no longer had time for it. So after much repair, addition, consolidation, redecoration, reskinning, etc...
I finally have a
TARDIS!
Also, anyone else that plays Oblivion can have a TARDIS as well: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/43304/
With my luck, no one who reads this will even know what Oblivion is, much less a TARDIS, but just in
Life moves on, one makes plans then one gets sick right in the middle of things, misses a deadline, and plans crumble. Ah, well. I was going to have a calendar of alpacas, but what with one things and another, it didn't happen in time for the new year. I may still come out with one for the next year, but the joke I had intended as part of it will no longer apply. (This is the year of the alpaca-lips, after all!)

Moving
As some of you that watch my gallery know, I recently lost my familiar of many years, a beautiful black cat named Tacoma Jade. I miss her terribly, and start crying when I think about it.

It has been a long, hot, and rather depressing Summer.
I did get to take a trip to visit relatives, and that was nice, if physically exhausting and painful. Lots more photographs. If I ever get them sorted out, and a few processed, you will b
