Crying Love by Entaryon Crying Love by Entaryon
This is a photo I had to take for my photo class using the elements and principles of Value and Emphasis. I can't honestly say what feelings went into this picture, since it was kind of spontaneous in its creation. Most likely is this romantic sappy lover boy trying to express his love for all things lovely and so on and so forth. Can't really put it to words, you know? I'll leave it to you to find out what's lying underneath it all.

Wow,now there's an eye-catching pic. I love the black and white,it adds alot more emotion to the photo. The only thing that bugs me is the font at the bottom. It seems a little too crisp to go with the rest of the pic,but it still works.
Great job.
:+fav: for sure. ^^

I really really like this! I love the black and white and all the contrasts. And even more I love the idea, it does seem romantic! I bet you got a good grade! I've always wanted to take a photography class, what was it like? Anyway, awesome shot!

Hehe, thankye for the nice comment! :w00t:

As for the photo class, the Photo I class they offer at our school is okay. The most helpful thing the teach you is how to develop film and the photos. Everything else I had already known going in, or was just common sense stuff that one could figure out with a few seconds investigation. The main focus with our course is I guess to get the students comfortable with the dark room and developing spiels before they get into the advanced techniques. I personally think it's too slow, but I know it's for the better. It may be different at other schools and most likely is at community colleges. If you don't know a whole lot about black and white developing and shooting, I would highly recommend at least taking a beginner's class in it. It's really fun :boogie: But anyways, thanks again for the comment!

Cheers,
-Derycke

you're welcome! I have no clue how to develop my own pictures, and I would love to learn sometime. There's still so much about photography that I can learn, so hopefully I'll take a class some time! Thanks for the info!

This is unbelievably good. Like... super mega good. The only problem I have is that I keep seeing it as one of those inspirational posters. I mean, nothing with the picture itself is wrong, it just reminds me of something like,

"Destiny - what is written on the page is only the beginning."

Or something. Y'know what I mean.
