You can paint thick and dry or water it down and let it flow. Cover up mistakes, too. Side note, it is physically impossible for me to color inside lines! I find perfection in messiness I suppose, atleast in my own work.
Until I found it back in 2011 I was confused about my work and didn't enjoy my drawings, which were done in colored ink. Isn't it interesting how easily we all could've not been artists? Maybe? Perhaps it's just me
At first I worked in watercolor gouache then moved to acryla gouache. A little about the difference: I found watercolor gouache to be chalky which is interesting but breakable and watersoluble. The rubbery matte-ness of acryla gouache is perfect for me and doesn't eat up my pens so quickly :nods:
At art/craft shows I often hear that people either hate or have a hard time with gouache and just give it up. Usually, it's a part of school painting project and it just didn't make any sense to them. Perhaps there wasn't e
