It’s that time, guys!
Entry 30 marks the end of my official MerMay 2020 series! All designs will be put up for early-access adoption tomorrow at 10am PST for my Patrons.
Public access to these adoptables will open on Tuesday, June 2nd at 4pm PST.
All design sales are first-come-first-serve. I currently do not have plans to place a cap on the number of adopts that Patrons may purchase, though depending on popularity, I may end up setting one in place for the general public (perhaps at three?).
Let me know your thoughts!
As always, a big thanks for being so supportive of this event! It’s been a lot of fun using your suggestions, and I’m happy to see people enjoying the resulting designs. ^_^ Since we’re on the final stretch, I thought I’d update people on how I’m planning on running the actual adoption sales of all these little mers.
My plan is to create and post a single image file for the sale, with numbered snapshots of each design I’ve made throughout the month. All designs will have a flat price. Sales will be first-come-first-serve, and will be spread across my various sites (and I will do my best to manage them). I am planning on starting the early-access sale for my Patrons on the 31st, which means I will probably not have an adoptable design for that day. I will keep the early sale going for a few days, before posting it to the general public. I’m thinking the 3rd of June for now (I will post another update later to confirm this date/time).
Let me know what you guys think!
I wanted to first say thank you so much to everyone who suggested sea creatures for me to use for MerMay! You guys have given me some really cool ideas to work with! So many, that there’s sadly no way for me to do them all within the month. All is not lost, however – if people would like, I can continue making little merfolk adoptables throughout the year, using up the rest of the list. OR, I can save the remaining suggestions for next year’s MerMay, and have another big adoptable event at that time. I’m leaning a little towards the latter, myself, as there are still other adopts and events I can do in the meantime, and it makes MerMay something fun to look forward to.
I also appreciate the patience of everyone who has an adoptable and/or commission order with me, which have been placed on temporary hold as I continue to work on this event. I’ve got a large queue of egg adopts to finish, so it may still be some time before I put together another batch of new ones. I
