Navjeshe squeezed his eyes shut as his head throbbed incessantly. His whole body ached and he once again rolled over trying to alleviate the pain, but he could not escape it. Though the crimson cervine’s blankets were piled high, he shivered as chills ran up his spine. A sudden bout of coughs wracked Navjeshe’s weakened frame, and left him breathlessly groaning. His throat was so dry it was agonizing. The crimson cervine felt around beside him for his glass of water. Once in hand, Navjeshe struggled to sit upright. His head pounded and his vision swam as he raised the cup to his lips with shaky hands, only to find it empty.
Having thoroughly expended what little energy he had, the crimson cervine collapsed, but was caught by the strong arms of his girlfriend, Aguanaid. She pressed her cool, pale fingers to his forehead as he leaned heavily into her comforting touch, having lost the battle to remain upright of his own strength. “You’re still burning up,” the white cervine lady
The pale equine lady stood firm, despite the throbbing agony of her ankle, as she and Aucha watched the bony form of their crazed canine assailant slink back into the forest. Only once the knife wielding canine was out of sight, did Izoo falter. The draft violet equine lady easily caught her before looping one of her arms over her shoulder to better support the smaller equine. The pale equine lady was still breathing hard from the fight, as she watched the surrounding woods wearily. The crazed canine had seemingly come out of nowhere, and he'd been faster than her even before she'd hurt her ankle. Izoo wasn't used to being slower than her opponents, and it unnerved her.
“It's not broken, is it,” Aucha asked worriedly.
“Just sprained, I think,” the pale equine lady hissed out, still scanning the trees. The violet equine lady, though strong, was no warrior, and Izoo knew that should the crazed canine return she would have to face him again despite her crippling injury.
Aucha nodded
Warning: This is a healing entry for her food poisoning. She vomits.
“Navjeshe…” Izoo groaned as her eyelids fluttered open.
“I’m here,” the crimson cervine replied as he hurried over to her side. He wasn’t a healer by any means, but Hyacintha had been called away for an emergency in another village so he would have to do. The pale equine lady’s eyes were glazed and unfocused as Navjeshe adjusted the cold compress on her head. She lay on her back covered in blankets as she shivered uncontrollably.
“Navjeshe, I’m-” there was an urgency in Izoo’s voice as she struggled to rise. Although he was a fair bit smaller than the pale equine lady, Navjeshe was very experienced with assisting weakened patients, as he expertly hauled her into a sitting position. The crimson cervine had barely a moment to position her over the bucket before Izoo heaved painfully into it. Her shoulders shook with exertion, and her short white fur was sweat soaked as she leaned heavily on Navjeshe. The crimson
